Vera and the Water

Vera og vatnið

Vera and the Water is a performance about the little creature Vera that experiences winds and stormy weather, freezing rain and slippery puddles. The performance premiered in Gerðuberg Culture House on April 10th 2016. The performance is aimed at kindergartens and culture houses as well as theatres and is easy to tour.

Vera and the Water

Dance performance for 1 - 5 years old

Duration: 25 min + 15 min playtime

The performance can be adapted to various spaces and played twice a day with 90 minutes between starting times.

The performance is absolutely beautiful, a contemporary dance performance with a theatrical twist and the performer, Snædís Lilja, is at her absolute best.

    • kindergarten 70 + teachers

  • Freezer close to stage, as parts of the scenography need to be stored in a freezer before performance

  • Set up time 2 - 8 hours

  • Clearing of stage 45 minutes
